BOOK REVIEWS
In his recent book, Princeton Holt has insightfully identified elements, seen and unseen, which have the ability of affecting an innocent newborn kid-Kashawn Davis(a fictitious name). Holts research reveals that during formative years(ages 1-7), that atmosphere, climate, and culture, when negatively maintained,
can become very toxic and destructive in early development!
Such conditions increase the harmful effects of things which will have a growing influence on a child like Kashawn, determining how they look at the world around them, as well as mold their moral and spiritual values! When this is allowed to continue, it can eventually transform an innocent kid with a killer instinct!
Holt's passionate offer will provoke it's readers to do some heart-wrenching, transparent soul-searching!
Whatever, the desperate or difficult situations our kids/we as adults face in life, the Apostle Paul asks, "Who can deliver me/us from this body/jaws of death?" The resounding answer is, "Jesus"! Therefore, let us confidently embrace the hope of help, and be compelled to take loving, intentional action

The passion that the author has for innocent children that we as parents have the ability to influence in a positive way is very evident in this book. This book was used in a book review reading group and generated many opportunities that the participants could use to become effective change agents. In essence this book helped us realize that we can make a difference.

I give a 5 star rating to this book.
"WHAT TURNS INNOCENT KIDS INTO RUTHLESS KILLERS " is a must read in order for you to gain a clearer perspective on the nature of the causes and effects that ultimately result in lives that are lived way beneath its human and spiritual potential. This book effectively brings clarity to the problem that fuels a child failures, but it brings into focus the necessary and essential components that will turn those failures into productive successes. This body of work is a call to engage with our youth who are at risk, slipping through the cracks, or who have just become invisible. This book is a wake up call to be proactive in creating a solution oriented paradigm shift , that produces results for the betterment of our children, and society at large .
